E-Cast Project 2K4

The Project · The Team · The Location

TMS Productions is now accepting registrations for the first annual TMS Model E-Casting Feature Model. Selected models will appear on the monthly TMS Feature Model page AND attend a calendar photo shoot, to be held in the Spring of 2004 in Las Vegas. Models MUST be 18 or over and at least 5'8" with a distinct fashion look and build. Modeling experience is preferred but not necessary. We're more interested in your look than your book.

Submissions should include a head shot AND a body shot that accurately represent your current look, along with photographer contact information for each image, complete stats and location, and modeling experience. Selected models must be prepared to make yourself available for the photo shoots at a time and location of our choosing within the continental U.S. Air travel will be selected and paid for by TMS. For the photo shoot, A full, unrestricted model release will be required, and compensation will be controlled by the general terms of the project outlined on the TMS web site.

The Project

As noted on the general description page for the e-casting, this initial project involves two elements.

  1. Selection of 12 Featured Models, each to be showcased on The Model Shop for a one-month period, along with links to the model's site and the site of the photographer who created her submitted images.

  2. Participation in a globally-distributed fashion-oriented calendar for the coming year.

This initial calendar will be non-nude, but the wardrobe styling will include alluring swim wear, sportswear and evening wear. Thus, participating models must be comfortable with the degree of nudity that one might see in a fashion production. Models selected for this project who are comfortable with full nudity will also have a priority opportunity to participate in a separately-produced, classy calendar of fine art nudes. (Think high artistic and production values here.) There is, however, no obligation on the models selected for the initial, fashion-oriented calendar to work on the other calendar as well.

The theme of the fashion-oriented calendar, to be shot in early Spring of 2004 in Las Vegas, will be tailored to the specific looks of the models selected, but will likely center around a "Fun in Vegas" type of concept. Although one model will be featured for each month, others in the group may play "supporting roles" in many of the images. Our intention is to make this an annual event, with subsequent calendars potentially using different locations and themes.

Also as mentioned, selected models will be required to sign a contract for the project, and a standard-form, unconditional model release for the work involved. The project contract will spell out the specific dates for the shoot, along with the terms of the nominal monetary compensation to be provided in additional to the promotional benefits. The contract will be available for review in advance by those models who are selected as finalists. We want to treat all of the selected models on a consistent basis. Thus, models who are unwilling to sign the contract, or require changes, will be dropped from consideration.

The Location

The location for this project will be in and around sunny, glamorous Las Vegas. Note that we're planning the shoot for spring time, however - before temperatures in Las Vegas get too toasty.

The specific locations in and around Las Vegas will be selected based on the final concept or theme of the calendar once the models have been selected and signed. These may include clubs along The Strip, the lake, and the desert. The objective is to make the locations both fun and visually interesting, in keeping with the high production values and marketability of the calendar and increased promotional value to the participating models.
